Catching BTS in Tampa? Here’s where ARMY is linking up before the shows!
BTS is taking over Tampa for three nights at Raymond James Stadium, and ARMY is showing up from everywhere for it.
The Arirang World Tour kicks off its North American run with shows on April 25, 26, and 28. But the concerts aren’t the only thing happening. All week, the city is filling up with fan events, pop-ups, and meetups leading into concert weekend.
The energy isn’t staying inside the venue either. Around Tampa, local businesses and public spaces are leaning into the moment, with purple-themed displays and BTS-inspired touches popping up across the city. It’s the kind of takeover only a tour like this can bring.
Tampa’s mayor, Jane Castor, has already started turning parts of the city purple to welcome BTS. Landmarks like Old City Hall and even bridges are being lit up ahead of the shows as a nod to ARMY and the group’s arrival.
If you’re in town early or staying after your show, here’s what’s going on around Tampa.
Outside of organized events, Tampa’s fan community is stepping up with its own plans. Expect unofficial meetups, fan projects, and social gatherings popping up across the city, especially around downtown and near the stadium.
